Interesting problem indeed... most software developers had not anticipated it. The monetary authorities had to budge and slash three zeros from the notes before they choked bank PCs... I reckon they will have to consider doing it again very soon with inflation racing to 2000 per cent. The IMF has predicted that it will reach 5000 per cent by year-end. Seems software suppliers will have to relax and watch them slash again because no other country or market needs that much space for zeros, not even the combined Bretton Woods institutions.
